We visited the fur farm again, this time focusing only on the Silver Foxes.
I got MUCH better photo of them!

Last time we were there I had my mom with me. She talked all the time, made sudden moves and in general spooked the poor things. We went alone this time ;)

Sitting in front of their cages silently made them quite curious about us. Some showed little fear and came to our side of the cage, even sniffed the camera lens =^_^=
Much different and allot more satisfying =)


I'm looking so much forward to the day I get my puppy =D
The Silver Foxes are actually tame domestic animals, thats what makes the use of them in the fur industry extra sad =(

I was about to get it when we suddenly had to move for unrelated reasons. We don't have a decent yard here and mum refuse to have it indoors (they do smell) so I wont be getting one as of now. Maybe when I live on my own some day.

I don't like posting my photos on FaceBook, only use the "Share on Facebook" link that is on DA which leads directly to the deviation. Feel free to share it on the page that way if you wish =^_^=

Where is this farm? Not all farms are cruel, it depends on how these foxes are treated and killed.

In Norway. This farm wasn't cruel, if you ignore that these animals are put in smaller cages than natural for them and are killed for vanity.
