Dogs: Conan - Nala

I decided to take photos of all my pets today. I will share them all, so bear with me
There will be varying qualities as I did one per species and they don't sit still

Last year I lost two of my three cats. Murre died suddenly of unknown causes at 8 and Ronja died of cancer at 11 years old.
They left a big void, so I started filling that void by rescuing and adopting unwanted pets. Some I fostered and only rescued to rehome, but so many I fell in love with and kept. And for the first time ever I've actually bought a few pets too. I love animals, and they give me so much joy!


Conan was a 7 year old dog for sale. He is my only purebreed with papers, Prague Ratter. When I looked through his papers it seems like he has bounced homes all his life. He is very loving, but insecure. He clearly showed me he needed a dog friend to feel better. So I started looking and found a mix breed puppy that seemed would be his size. Well, little Nala is only half his size
They bonded instantly! They always follow each other and play nicely =^_^=
Conan needed a lot of medical attention. He had a testicle in his abdomen, and rather than spay him they just used him to breed with other breeds than his own cause you don't get papers anyway but small puppies sell well. I only waited a few months to make him feel safe first, but I ordered the procedure shortly after I got him. He also needed several rounds on his teeth, they where in bad condition. He also STANK when I got him. Even when he had his operation and couldn't bathe for several weeks while the incision healed he didn't even start to smell, so I wonder if they ever gave him a bath...

Nala is absolutely loving! She is a very happy and friendly little dog. She has long since stopped growing and seem to stay around 1.5 kilos (Conan is 2.2 Kilos) Nala is a Chorkie, Chihuahua Yorkie mix
